The day started off just like any normal morning would have in the Donally household. Sixteen year old Addison had been bickering with her elder sister, Felicity. Felicity was accusing Addison of taking her best dress and ruining flying on a broomstick. Her broom had been left at Hogwarts on purpose. During the Summer or any other holiday she used the Floo Network to get around, her broom was just for flying practice at school. Aside from that little detail she hated Felicity's dresses, they were just too plain to her but she knew that Kimberly loved to play dress-up in them so she wouldn't put it against the four-year old to have gotten it dirty outside. However she was too angry to voice this as Felicity screamed at her. Felicity was just going off about how she was always nicking her stuff and that it had better stop or else she would make her pay. Addy laughed when she heard this and sarcastically told her sister "Oh, I'm real scared of you, Feli. What are you going to do? Make me wear one of your hideous dresses?" rolling her eyes as she said this, Felicity was just so foolish sometimes.
Hearing the arguing going on upstairs, Edary Donally walked into the room where the two siblings were arguing with each other and asked both of them, very calmly, what was going on. It took Felicity no time to burst out and tell their mother that Addison had been in her room, taking her dresses again. After Felicity was done with her crazy banter, Addison said in as calm a voice she could muster "Mum, I never touched her dress, they're not my style. Felicity's off her rocker." to which her sister gave her a look that suggested she was going to tell her off for calling her mad once their mum left the room. If it was Jenna she was fighting with she would have been afraid but as it was Felicity, she wasn't threatened in the slightest. After hearing what both girls had to say their mother suggested that they make up. That was usually her solution to everything but the thing with Addison and Felicity was that the war between then had been going on for years now, never showing any sign of letting up. Felicity voiced her opinion of them making up first by telling her that she would never get along with her because she was always going into her bedroom and she never had her privacy in that house. Addison rolled her eyes at her sister again and told Edary "Mum, I've got a better chance of being struck by lightning twice then us getting along. Felicity has her head stuck too f-" but she was cut off before she could even finish her sentence.
Jenna had just walked into the room, having heard all the talking and wondered what was going on. Then she saw that it was between Addison and Felicity. Her expression mirrored her twins perfectly as she placed her hands on her hips and asked what Felicity was accusing Addison of this time. Hearing this Felicity muttered whatever and then told Addison that her stuff better stop being tampered with before she walked out. It was a wise move because of the two Jenna was the most vocal and would definitely speak her mind. After Felicity was gone Jenna and Edary soon left, leaving Addison by herself. Remembering that there were a few things she needed to get from Diagon Alley early Addison went digging around for wizard money left over from the school year, then threw on her Hufflepuff robes and told her mother she was going to town to grab a few things. Her mother told her to be home and washed up by supper, and of course to be careful. Mrs. Donally knew nothing about Voldemort terrorizing the wizarding world and Addison wasn't foolish enough to tell her, but as a mother Edary had been asking Addison time and time again if everything was alright, which was getting quite annoying.
Double checking to make she that she had everything she would need while she was out (including her wand) Addison stepped into her fireplace and tried to say 'Diagon Alley' which because of the soot, came out sounding like 'Aigon Dilly' and that didn't sound right at all. The fire turned an emerald green color, and Addison was engulfed in flames but the fireplace that she came out of wasn't in Diagon Alley. Actually it didn't look very familiar, or welcoming, at all. It was quite disturbing to say the least and with how bad it felt, Addison had a faint idea where she was. Not giving it a second thought Addison opened the door and took off out of the creepy looking shop. Outside she looked up and saw a sign that said 'Bourgin and Burkes' and thought to herself that even the name didn't sound very friendly. "I definitely won't be doing my Christmas shopping here." She whispered to herself as she tried to find her way out, fingers wrapped tightly around the wand that was in her pocket.
It was very difficult to find the entrance to Knockturn Alley and the place was freakier looking by the second. The people she saw down there looked very shady and Addison wasn't taking chances of asking them directions. It was just a gut instinct not to trust anyone she was saw down there and trust them, she wasn't going to. There was a reason people always told her to stay from down in Knockturn Alley and Addison was starting to see way. This certainly wasn't a place any good witch or wizard would want to be found. From some of the merchandise she was seeing being sold, it was quite obvious what type did their shopping here.

A brown haired girl slowly made her way down an unfamiliar street. What she was doing here she didn’t know. I think I had taken a wrong turn or something, she thought to herself biting down on her lower lip. A worried look passed through her light grey eyes. How would she end up out of this mess? Gabriella Toréz glanced around frowning. She remembered telling her brother that she would be taking a trip to Diagon Alley. That she wanted to get something. Alex had offered to go with her but Gabby told him no. That she would be fine by herself. He can get too worried at times, she thought, the corners of her lips twitching upwards into a small smile. The twins knew that they were in danger as this ‘Lord Voldemort’ person, whoever he was, was rising and gathering followers. They had both agreed that they would keep that quiet from their parents, who were eager to hear their tails about the wizarding world and Hogwarts. They were muggleborns who had no idea that they possessed magic. There were signs throughout their younger years but Gabby usually passed them off as a ‘trick of the eye.’ She remembered on their eight birthday when Alex had made the decorations hover in midair.
Both of them had thought it was odd. They were extremely surprised when a member of the Hogwarts Staff had come to their house, giving them their letter and explaining that they were a witch and a wizard and that they had a spot at Hogwarts if they wished to attend. Gabby had jumped at the chance. She wanted to experience everything the school had to offer. Or at least tried to anyways. And now here they are a couple of years later. Both in their sixth years and having taken the required fifth year exams, to which Gabby was surprised to learn that she had gotten ten Owls. She could have done better she supposed. The sixteen year old Ravenclaw pulled herself out of her thoughts as she glanced around again. She couldn’t help but to shiver a bit as she pulled her cloak against her tightly. The cloak was in Ravenclaw colors. How am I going to get out of this one? She asked herself her expression held a worried, and almost frightful, look. She didn’t even know where she was. Although she had a feeling that she was somewhere close to Diagon Alley. And this is what I get for going on my own, Gabby thought with a small sigh.
Wonderful. Just absolutely wonderful, she continued to think with a small shake of her head. She pushed her hair out of her eyes as she kept a close watch on her surroundings. Her hand went into her pocket and it brushed against her wand. Gabby relaxed but only a little. And just think the day had started off normal. Alex had been in the kitchen, learning how to make breakfast. He would have gone for his wand and make everything appear but both of them knew they couldn’t do magic outside of Hogwarts. Even though they had done a lot of accidental magic when they were younger. It was a good thing that the Ministry had overlooked it. Or else the twins would have been a lot of trouble than they were worth. Gabby snorted at the thought and shook her head. Every now and then she would team up with her twin when he was in one of his ‘pranking moods.’ Like last year for instance. A month before they were out for the summer term. Alex had managed to decorate the Ravenclaw Common Room. She giggled out loud at the memory. He had decided that he wanted to give the room a makeover so to speak. The next thing she knew it was in silver and black.
The head of house had promised them that the moment they set foot in Hogwarts for the next term she would make their lives miserable. And both twins had believed her. Gabby sighed softly to herself, wrapping herself up in thoughts and memories. She was so caught up in her thoughts that she practically ran over another person. “Oh! I’m sorry,” the sixteen year old apologized hastily as she took a couple of steps back. Her wand was in her hand and she was gripping it tightly in fear that she might have provoked an attack. “I wasn’t watching where I was going. I was trying to get out. I was heading to Diagon Alley and…I guess I had taken a wrong turn or something,” She added a little helplessly. She pulled her traveling cloak tighter. Underneath the cloak she was wearing a baby blue blouse and a pair of blue jeans. Her hair was up in a half ponytail. Gabriella took a deep breath. “Gabriella Toréz, Ravenclaw. Sixth year,” She introduced herself. There was still the hint of helpless in her tone. “I don’t…suppose you know where we are?” she inquired, choosing her words very carefully. Wasn’t this going to be lovely? She asked herself mentally. How am I going to explain to my family about this one.
Alex wouldn’t let her out of his sight for a couple of months. He would play the ‘other parent’ card. Ironically seeing as how I was born two minutes older than he was, she thought wirily. There was an amused expression of sorts on her face. She bit down on the inside of her cheeks to keep herself from blurting out her thoughts. After a couple of minutes, however, she lowered her wand, though not her guard or defenses. Gabriella took in another breath as she glanced around. She was getting creped out by the objects on the windows in the shops. She then started to wonder if this was the place for those ‘dark wizards’. Then a thought occurred to her. Was there a dark side to Diagon Alley that she did not know about? Surely there could have been, at least not talked about anyways. Gabby shook her head a little to herself. She was being rather foolish at the moment. She pulled herself out of her thoughts and took a long look at the other girl. [/size]
