  The day had not had a good start, Andromeda had wanted to dress her daughter up in one of her really pretty dresses. Trying to put it on her she found out that the drss was already to small for Nymphadora. Frustrated she put her daughter in one of the outfits that Ted's parents had bought for her, which fit her perfectly. It wasn't a dress but it looked comfortable and and it was pretty cute. Her daughter cleaned and dressed, Androemda made sure that she got her breakfast before leaving her with Ted and going out. Ted had decided to let her take a little break from mommy duties and go out to get some shopping done. She was going to put up a few things for Ted, some for herself and something for little Dora to wear too. She couldn't go around wearing muggle clothing all the time. Well she could but Andromeda wasn't having it. Besides all little girls needed a few dresses, well dresses that fit them properly. Now Meda wasn't the superficial type but she wasn't about to have her any daughter of hers going around in clothing that was too small for her.
The first stop on Andromeda's list was by Gringott's so that she could go get some money to shop with. The trip to the bank was quick and painless, she went to the vault that she now shared with Ted, grabbed all that she wanted and was done with it. Now, with the small-medium sized bag swinging from her arm Andromeda walked down the streets of Diagon Alley. Unsure of whether she wanted to go to Madam Malkin's or Twilfit and Tattings, Andromeda decided to stop by both places to see if there was anything that caught her eye. She ran my Madam Malkin's first, she didn't see much that she would by for Nymphadora but she did get some new robes for herself and Ted, they were nice and of many different colors. Though, most of what she got for her husband were black or other dark colors so that he could wear them to work. Her favorite was a set of navy robes that she thought would look nice on him. Meda had been hearing that he was in need of some new robes. Well, now he was getting them since she had a chance to get around to it for once.
Shopping was much easier without their daughter around, Andromeda loved little Nymphadora there was no doubt about that but she was a lot to handle. It was nice to have some time just for her for a change. Alone time didn't come around too often but Andromeda was always grateful when it did. Done at Madam Malkin's Andromeda took her purchases from there and started towards Twilfi and Tattings, hoping to find something she thought was suitable for Nymphadora. She knew that it was a bit up there in prices but they had enough money and their little girl was worth it. Merlin only knew the girl needed durable clothing with how she would play plus she needed some pretty dresses to wear on special occassions. Twilfit and Tattings was the place to go, normally her mother-in-law would go all out when shopping for the three year old but Andromeda had never been entirely comfortable with that. That's partially because she never had grandparents who would do that but Ted said it was normal. She wasn't going to question that but she was going to stop letting her mother-in-law constantly buy their daughter new things, if anything her excuse would be that it was going to spoil her and that she, Andromeda, didn't want an overly spoiled child.
In twilfit and Tattings Andromeda caught glimpses of people she once knew from her Hogwarts days. A few of them were in her house and/or year and she no longer had contact with them. others were in other houses some in different years than she had been as well. Andromeda wasn't really wanting to live up her past so she just sent a small friendly smile to those who smiled at her and that was it. She found where all the of children'ss clothing was and started looking at what would be perfect for her Dora. There were so many cute little dresses, Andromeda just didn't know where to start. A pink jumper that came with a white polka dot bodysuit caught her attention. Dora could wear this on normal days in the fall and winter, it was cute and would help to keep her arms warm. Andromeda picked it up and held it out to examine it better, as if trying to find something wrong with it.
