Gabriella can be described as a quiet and timid person. She can be rather shy at times. She has a group of close friends and she is very close to them. She doesn’t have a whole lot of friends when it comes to that subject matter however. She likes the quiet and spending time to herself most of the time. Other times she can be found with her friends. She is the type of person that would sit on the side lines and watch other people having fun. She doesn’t like to interrupt others and wouldn’t even join unless she was asked. She is a very independent young woman. She likes to do things by herself. She works well under pressure. Adding to this she can think clearly in stressful situations. She has a good head on her shoulders. She knows what she is going to do with her life. She sees herself as a follower rather than a leader. She doesn’t like to be in charge. She can be a rather determined person as well. She never gives up on anything when she puts her mind to it. Even though she is quiet, Gabriella is a kind and helpful person. Despite her age she can be a bit naïve as well as gullible at times. She will most often believe what other people are saying without even bothering to check out the truth. Gabby can be a bit absentminded at times, often spacing out and daydreaming at times. She can be a bit impatient when the occasion calls for it. She is soft hearted at times as well. Standing at five feet and five inches Gabriella is the average height for females her own age. She weighs in at a healthy one hundred and twenty five pounds. Her face is heart shaped and white. Her skin takes on a more whitish glow than any. There is a bit of a tan since she loves to go outside and is always active. Her hair is a medium shade of brown and it falls past her waist. It is always seen worn down and is always wavy. Her eyes are a light grey and set under fine black eyebrows and curly eyelashes. Her nose is small and a round and stubborn chin tops off her face.

Going downwards Gabriella is slim and slender with curves in all the right places. Her arms are long and her hands are small and her fingers are short. When she is at Hogwarts she wears her uniform. During the summer and the holidays when she is at home, Gabriella tends to go with jeans and a T-shirt. She likes to wear light and dark colors. Something that compliments her eyes or her skin. She likes to wear the dressy type of shirts but she never wears any make up. The only way that Gabriella will go all out on her appearance is if there is a special occasion. Otherwise she will be in her normal attire all year round.

Despite the dress shirts, one would like to call Gabby a tom boy. As stated before, she doesn’t wear any makeup and she doesn’t wear any jewelry. It is something that she had always found pointless to put in. She does not dress to impress and she will put on what she thinks will look good on herself. Gabby never really followed the ‘fashion’ rule according to Muggle life. If one would look at Gabby closely they would see a small scar near her eyebrow. She was learning how to cook in the kitchen on a summer holiday with her mother when she moved her arm across her forehead to wipe off the sweat. Unfortunaly the knife had slip and left a small scar.

Elaina Alvarez was born into an upper middle class family in London, England. She was from a strong Mexican family and followed the tradition of her people. She graduated high school with flying colors, a result from studying harder than she had ever done before. There were times during the semesters in which Elaina would slip but she would always come right back up. She was in the library one night searching her field of study when she met a man by the name of Ricardo Toréz, a local doctor working in a hospital. Elaina was quite taken to him and she was instantly attracted to him. Her family had defiantly approved of Ricardo and it was the same way when his parents had met Elaina. The two couple started dating. Six months later Richard proposed to her and Elaina happily accepted it. Within the following year they were married. To some people they would have been considered rushing things but they knew what they were doing.

Within the second month of their marriage Elaina realized that she was pregnant. In the early morning hours of December 2nd, they welcomed two beautiful new born babies in the family. The baby girl was born two minutes before her brother, making her the older twin. The baby girl was named Gabriella and the baby boy was named Alexandro. Growing up the twins were extremely close. Their parents wouldn’t let them play out on the streets due to crime and murder rates going up or what they thought were. They didn’t know that witches and wizards live among them. Very powerful ones. The twins first showed signs of magic when they were both eight years old. Gabby had made her toys hover in midair and strange things happen to her whenever she was angry or frightened. She knew she couldn’t tell her parents because they thought she was going crazy. The one person she could count on was Alex because he was going through the same thing.

On their eleventh birthday, however, things would change for the twins as they received their Hogwarts letter. Everyone was taken back with surprise as no one in the Toréz and Alvarez family had magic. In other words they were all Muggles. They received a visit from a Hogwarts staff who explained that there was another world. He also explained about magic and the necessary things for the twins to know. They were taken to Diagon Alley and the sight of it took Gabby’s breath away. In Ollivander’s Wand Shop Gabby had to try three wands before settling on the right one. It took Alex ten tries. The twins went in the animal shop and Gabby brought a beautiful black owl she had decided to name Darkness while Alex had brought a cat. The summer passed all too soon and September 1st rolled around the corner. Gabby remembered feeling nervous when her name was called for the sorting ceremony. She had no idea what to expect and it came as a slight shock when the hat had shouted “RAVENCLAW!” after a few seconds on her head. Alex was the same way and she was happy that her twin was sorted in the same house.

Their first couple of years went by uneventful as can be. Gabriella did not tell her parents what was really going on in the wizarding world. She could only imagine the look on her mother’s face if she had found out about this Lord Voldemort person. Gabby only told them what she wanted to while discussing everything with Alex. She didn’t agree with Voldemort and the prejudices that were held towards halfbloods and muggleborns. Muggleborns especially. She had ended up in a couple of fights because simply that she was a Muggleborn. Last year Gabby had taken her O.W.L.s exams and passed with eleven O.W.Ls. Her brother Alex managed to get two less than she did. She is now entering her sixth year at Hogwarts.
